One of the most enjoyable hike I have been so far is Mt. Batolusong in Tanay, Rizal. You can climb the Rangyas Peak which is considered the highest point of the mountain at about 1-2 hours. Minor difficulty in reaching the peak because you have to climb the rock without any ropes but with proper assistance of course.
Here’s a brief background of Mt. Batolusong:
Major jumpoff: Brgy. San Andres, Tanay, Rizal
LLA: 645 MASL / 780 MASL
Days required / Hours to destination: 1 day /1.5h (Mapatag); 3-4 (Susong Dalaga Peak)
Specs: Minor climb, Difficulty 3/9, Trail class 1-3
Features: Grassland slopes, views of Laguna, Rizal, and Quezon

Nami Island or Namiseom is a tiny half moon shape island located at Chuncheon, South Korea. Namira Republic declared its cultural independence from the Republic of Korea. It has its own diplomatic and cultural policies. Naminara celebrates the imagination and shares its beautiful fairy tales and songs with guests from all over the world.
Everyone is a citizen in Nami Island. To go there you will need a 5 minute ferry ride and after that you will be greeted with verdant trees, open sky and animals that are freely wandering around the island.
Kick starting 2016 with awesome adventures! 2016 has a lot to offer and I am excited to see what changes and experiences I will encounter this year.
Always on the go and always moving.

One of the highlights in my Korea diaries is the “Everland Theme Park”. We really enjoyed this one whole day event with roller coaster rides, bird feeding, getting lost and just enjoying the inner child that we have. It is a must see when you plan to visit Seoul.
Luckily it is “Tulip Festival” when we came in Everland. The theme park is actually divided in 5 parts: Global Fair, American Adventure, Magic Land, European Adventure and Zoo Topia. Yes! There is a zoo inside the park!
To escape the hustle and bustle of city life I have decided to conquer one of biggest my fears and also to fulfill one of my goals which is to climb a mountain. Fear, not because of height, but I fear that I will not be able to actually climb and finish the trail. A goal, because I really want to experience the adrenaline when I get to the peak of the mountain. Mt. Batulao is located at Nasugbu, Batangas. Level 3/10 in difficulty. I just did a day hike which is approximately 2 hours. You can choose from Old to New or New to Old trail, I preferred the latter. Mt. Batulao is also famous for its “Dinosaur Spine” unfortunately it was raining during my hike so I didn’t get a clearer picture of that. *Planning to do another hike sometime soon* Continue reading
Next stop for my Korea diaries are the popular palaces they have in Seoul, luckily out of the Five Grand Palace (Gyeonghuigung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Gyeongbokgung Palace) we visited two of the largest and oldest Palace built in Joseon Dynasty.
Gyeongbokgung Palace (경복궁) is the first palace ever built in Seoul by King Taejo in 1395. It is the most beautiful and remains the largest among five grand palaces. It served as the home of Kings, King’s household and government offcials. Gyeongbok means “Shining Happiness” and it is referred to as the “Northern Palace”.
Located eastern side of Gyeongbokgung Palace is the National Folk Museum of Korea (국립민속박물관) which shows the traditional way of living of most Koreans during the early years of civilization.
